Anger at new Tesco in Old Whit

Local residents are unhappy at plans to change one of Old Whittington's former pubs into a supermarket.

The White Horse is set to become a Tesco which residents fear will badly affect the town's local businesses.

Developers for the site sent a letter round informing people of their plans which have been made easier due to the fact that planning permission for the supermakert redevelopment is not needed.
