Chesterfield Diamond Wedding Anniversary couples celebrated
Chesterfield couples celebrating their Diamond Wedding Anniversary are being invited to a special event in September.
In line with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee the Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor Donald Parsons and Mrs Diane Parsons are inviting couples to a celebration at the Town Hall.
The event will take place at the Town Hall between 3-5pm on the 13th September.
Councillor Donald Parsons, Mayor of Chesterfield said: "This is a very special year for the Queen and it's certainly a very special year for those couples who have reached their 60th wedding anniversary so we'd like to have a joint celebration to mark these very significant achievements."
