Derby house fire: parents due in court
The parents of six children who died in an arson attack at their home are due at Nottingham Crown Court today.
Mick & Mairead Phillpott are charged with murdering their six children who died in a house fire in Derbyshire, will appear before Nottingham Crown Court today.
The children aged between five and thirteen died after a fire broke out at their home in the Allenton area of Derby on May the 11th.
Mick and Mairead Philpott were remanded in custody by Southern Derbyshire magistrates yesterday.
Their appearance was greeted by shouts from the public gallery.
Two people had to be removed from court.
