East Mildands Train Drivers to Strike six times in May

Hundreds of Train drivers from East Midlands trains have continued their strikes today.

Drivers Union Aslef said it was staging the one day strikes over the firms plans to reduce pension contributions for workers from July.

The action will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the first three weeks of this month.

Some routes will be replaced with bus services.

The train company said customers who decided not to travel could receive a refund or they could travel the day before or the day after the strike days.

It added that other train operators and some Stagecoach bus services would be accepting valid East Midlands Trains' tickets during the strike days.

  • Nottingham to Mansfield Woodhouse,
  • Derby to Matlock,
  • Derby to Stoke-on-Trent,
  • Nottingham to Boston,
  • Nottingham to Sleaford,
  • Lincoln to Sleaford
