Market stalls stolen in Ashbourne

Around 60 stalls used at Ashbourne Market have been stolen.

They were taken from a depot on Mayfield Road overnight.

Although the market has been open as usual today, traders have had to make do with their own improvised stalls.

Its thought the thieves were more interested in the trailers themselves, which are worth around £6,000 each, than the market equipment inside.
