Chair of Chesterfield Canal Trust, Robin Stonebridge
The next phase of the Chesterfield canal restoration project has been revealed.
Plans to regenerate the Staveley town basin is the next task for the Chesterfield Canal Trust.
Volunteers are now trying to raise £20,500 to release a £200,000 grant to fund the latest project.
Proposals for the site include an office and small bunkhouse for volunteers to work from, small business start-up units and properties.
