Thursday, July 26th 2012 01:00

East Midlands Trains bosses have reached and agreement with the workers' union ASLEF to avoid 3 days of strikes during the Olympic Games.

A joint statement from the rail bosses and ASLEF says they have made a positive settlement to the dispute over changes to pensions and will run a full service over the course of the games.

Strikes had been planned for the 6th, 7th and 8th of August
