North Derbyshire B&B set to be Care Home
Plans to convert a north Derbyshire hotel into a care home has been approved.
The former Whitton Lodge in Hardstoft is set to be transformed into a care home for people with learning difficulties. When completed there will be room for six residents, with en suite facilities, as well as a sensory room and a quiet room. The outbuildings will be used for horticultural and husbandry activities to help stimulate the residents with additional activities such as a kitchen garden, and arts and crafts. Following the approval, the development must be started in the next 3 years.
