Police name toddler who fell from Sheffield flats
South Yorkshire Police are able to name the 2-year-old that died in a tragic incident in Sheffield on 27 June as Rayaheen Banimuslem.
She died after she fell from the fourth storey of North Bank apartments on Willey Street, around 4.30pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Rayheen was taken to Sheffield Children's Hospital but she died of her injuries.
In a family statement, her father Hikmat Banimuslem asked to be left alone as they grieve for her daughter:
"We are deeply shocked and saddened by this tragedy. We are a close family and also a private one. We would ask the media to respect our privacy and that at this moment in time we are given peace for our beautiful daughter."
