
Police are appealing for information after the Dronfield Arms on Chesterfield Road was targeted.
Between 3.45am and 4am on Monday, July 23 three men got into the building through a cellar door and demanded money from the landlord.
The landlord was threatened and punched by the men who then stole cash from the safe and left.
The victim suffered a cut to his face and swelling.
The offenders all wore dark clothing with hoods and had scarves across their faces. One was around 5ft 9in and stocky and another was around 6ft and medium build, there is no description of the third offender.
Police would like to speak to anyone with any information about the robbery.
Officers are reminding publicans to be security conscious and ensure all windows and doors are locked and all valuables are stored out of sight.
