Time to apply for secondary school places
From today parents of school children in Derbyshire can apply for their child's secondary school place.
It starts a busy time for education bosses with around 7,500 year 6 children having to be allocated. All of which will be sent the information to make the process run smoothly.There are a number of ways to complete the form- parents can fill it in online, complete it over the phone, or take a paper copy into their child's current school.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 31st of October 2012.
