Two Arrests made over Derby arson that killed Six Children

Two people have been arrested in connection with a house fire that killed six children from the same family in Derby.

A 55 year-old man and a 31-year-old woman from the city are being questioned on suspicion of murder.

The fire broke out in a house in Victory Road in the Derby suburb of Allenton on Friday the 11th of May.

Six siblings aged between 5 and 13 died as a result of the fire.

Meanwhile, a book of condolence has been signed by "hundreds" of people.

Reverend Canon Elaine Jones of Derby Cathedral said people had been moved to offer support to the Philpott family.
