Welcome to the online home of our very own Richie Pearson!
Richie was born in the old Scarsdale Hospital back in 1988, and at the age of just 23, he's the youngest Presenter on air at Peak FM.
His love for Radio started at the age of 15, when he was a volunteer at Crystal Radio in The Sheffield Children's Hospital.
He then went on to work in Mansfield, Liverpool, Sheffield, Wales, Carlisle and Bristol before ending up on his hometown Station.
Before developing a passion for Radio, Richie wanted to be a train driver and could often be found at Dronfield Train Station with his dad watching trains! (He'll kill us for telling you that!) He was a big fan of the Intercity 125… Moving on!
Richie spent half a morning working on a market before realising he had no idea what he was doing, and also spent 3 days working as a cleaner before realising he was making things messier, rather than cleaner!
Richie is a proud father to little Evie Jayne, he's engaged and lives in Chesterfield. He has no luck with cars, and when he's not working, he enjoys watching repeats of Top Gear much to the annoyance of his mrs!
